HEATER ISSUES

Post by Rusted_Jacking_Points on Thu Jul 30, 2009 6:11 am

I may be one of the lucky ones to have working heaters in my early bay but it comes with it's own set of problems... Our van used to be a bus and as such, has two heater outlets under the rock 'n' roll bed. These outlets get really fricken hot and dramatically reduce the flow of air to the front of the cab where it's needed most. The outlets do not have the 'hoover style' heating ducts so we are not able to stop the flow from there. I'm thinking of plugging them both with large pieces of metal rod but before I do so, has anybody else had this problem and if so, how did they solve it??

I hose clipped a tin can over the ones underneath my van to stop air coming out the rear facing vent between the front seats, don't see why you can't do the same to yours, energy drink tins are a close fit.

Or you could use them.

I used the empty tube from a silcone gun thing, if I had a black one I would have used that!!
